My undergraduate work at Central College, Pella, Iowa 1999-2003
As an undergraduate student, at Central College, I devoted a lot of my time to various research projects. I especially enjoyed working on my senior honors thesis called Pragerish Atmosphere. My thesis depicts the atmosphere of the city of Prague, the capitol of the Czech Republic, formerly Czechoslovakia, between 1890 and 1920 as it was experienced and described in the work of the following German-speaking Jewish intellectuals: Franz Kafka, Franz Werfel, and Max Brod.
My professors wanted us not only to study about the world around us, but also through our writing reveal who we are and what we believe in. I did so in my Political Autobiography.
