Sole responsibility for updating and preparing the patient information directory and brochure, for preparing
and posting the patient rights in the appropriate languages, for developing and implementing Confidentiality Campaign.
Deeply involved in preparing for Stanfords JCAHO site visit as a member of Patient Rights Chapter. Working on restructuring
Smoking Cessation program, rewriting the instruction booklet for the smoking cessation advisors, utilizing volunteers to provide
written and video information, bedside counseling and phone follow-up to patients that wish to quit smoking.

only German and needed crisis counseling.

Assisted Prof. Thomas Fischer and Dr. Angela Zacharachiewitz in
research focused on inflammatory markers in asthmatic children using the
technique of induced sputum. Did pilot work for this study, performed lung function testing, and sputum induction. Recruited pediatric patients
and explained to their parents the significance of this
study.
